This is a part of my “Negative Affects” project which I depict a character affecting their own card in a physical way. Most of these are destroying the “valuable” card, which generates a highly negative response from serious collectors, and only adds to the meaning behind the title of the project.
The claws are designed by me, created out of layered metallic vinyl, and the card is a 1992 Impel Marvel Universe Hologram insert.
